Bal met Trio Baftig

What started as a musical experiment in the summer of 2022 has grown into a staple of the Dutch balfolk scene. Trio Baftig delivers energetic, danceable tunes on acoustic guitar (DADGAD), accordion, and violin. Manon, Robin, and Sebastiaan share a deep passion for folk dance and folk music – and you can hear it!

With a surprising mix of Irish and Scandinavian melodies, blended with their own explosive compositions, they create a unique sound that keeps everyone moving. Whether it’s melancholic and dreamy or powerful and uplifting – one thing is certain: it’s all Baftig!
